NVIDIA Quadro Plex D series of Visual Computing Systems (VCS)

The NVIDIA machine looks cool! It is the new NVIDIA Quadro Plex D series of Visual Computing Systems (VCS) with NVIDIA CUDA Parallel Computing Processor technology which can turn workstations and servers into visual supercomputers.
“The new Quadro Plex 2200 D2 is designed for large datasets and models, crunches data through two Quadro FX 5800 GPUs (totalling 480 CUDA cores) and 8GB of RAM, while the Quadro Plex 2100 D2 is optimized for large multidisplay rigs with four Quadro FX 4700 GPUs and support for up to eight monitors.”
The price is higher then we thought, it has a starting price of $10,500. It is designed for the professional workstation like the designer developing the latest automobile or a 3D artist working on the next blockbuster film.
