Microsoft finally confirms Windows 7 for 2010 launch
It's all a silly misunderstanding, we tell you. Microsoft has been holding fast to its "three years" development time frame for Windows 7 since forever, the problem is that it's never been clear when that three year period started. Well wonder no longer, Microsoft has finally officially confirmed that the three years started at Windows Vista's general availability release, which was January 30th, 2007. Obviously that doesn't mean will have Windows 7 on midnight of January 30th, 2010, but it does mean we can look forward to sometime within that year for a release. Microsoft plans to give an exact release date only once Windows 7 "meets its quality bar for release." Sounds like a good metric to go by, if you ask us.
The Periodic Coffee Table
The Periodic Coffee table measures 4 ft x 2.5 ft x 16 inches, and if features all the 92 natural elements as well as all of the man made elements actually built in to the table.

New Laptop Incorporates Split Keyboard
With more people struggling with the effects of carpel tunnel, it’s become more pressing for computer designers to provide more ergonomic options for users. This is also been a problem with laptop designs which struggle with ergonomic design and lightweight function, and the user usually loses the battle as laptop makers keep designing laptops with smaller, standard QWERTY keyboards. But this company not only decided to give users more room with which to type, it also figured out a way to give the user more screen real estate, very much like the Nintendo DS does. And it’s an idea that’s been around for nearly ten years and never capitalized on … until now.
It’s called the Ergonomic Dual Screen Split Keyboard Notebook Portable Personal Computer and the sweetness isn’t only the fact that the keyboard splits open to give a computer user more room to fit their hands, but that it has a second LCD hidden underneath it. What a fantastic idea.
The second screen works in concert with the first screen – giving the user a “drag and send” capability for open windows or programs, or act independently as a pen-based input screen for note taking, sketching, and just about anything else a user can do to write into the interface. This makes the EDSSKN of tremendous benefit to not only writers and word processors, but artists and designers as well.
Or, users can use the space to place notes in more natural position to type from.
The laptop is scheduled to ship later this year from Electronic Keyboards. Or, you can buy the patents outright!

Apple unslow iPhone 3G in Commercial?
iPhone 3G appear to load web pages pretty fast in its commercial but doesn’t look like it in reality.
Says in Youtuber’s description:
“Apple’s “Unslow” 3G iPhone commercial pretends to demonstrated the performance of the device over the 3G network. To put it to the test, I took my own 3G iPhone to the heart of AT&T’s coverage area in MA (Boylston St. in Boston just across the street from Apple’s flagship store).”

Sensacell’s Interactive Floor System
Sensacell Corporation announces its Interactive Floor System to the 2008 World Expo, themed “Water and Sustainable Development.” It has been installed at the entrance to the Spain Pavilion, “Comunitat Valenciana.” Visitors who walk across this floor will leave behind luminous footprints and that reminds me of “Michael Jackson - Billie Jean” video clip.
It is a 250 Square foot (25 square meter) floor system, consisting over 1000 Sensacell HSI64-36-W interactive modules. Each of the modules was equipped with capacitive sensors and a LED lighting system. Those capacitive sensors will enable the floor to detect and respond to visitors’ footsteps right through the 20 mm thick architectural glass that forms the surface of the floor. Hmm… fun to play around with it.
The floor will be shown at the Expo- from June 14 through September 14, 2008.---Video----
