This is the iHologram iPhone app by David O’Reilly which let you see 3D object on your iPhone screen. The application works by assuming a constant viewing angle (35-45 degrees), typical for when the device is placed on a tabletop.

“iHologram combines anamorphosis and the iPhone’s gyroscopes to achieve this awesome visual magic trick.”

The 3d scene’s perspective is then warped using anamorphic perspective, making the object appears to jump off the screen.

The USB Metal Game Pad features shiny chrome

If you’re tired of having the same old boring controllers to go with your favorite games, you’ll like this new design. It features chrome and not just shiny plastic that looks like chrome. Granted that means that you’re stuck making fingerprints all over it every single time you pick it up. However, having a shiny controller like this might be worth the extra trouble it would cause.

The device is coming from China’s Dream Cheeky, which in the past have offered all kinds of USB gadgets. Right now there isn’t even the slightest hint as to where one might get one of these and when it would become available. However, it is listed on the Dream Cheeky website, which shows all of the details on the game pad. Well, besides the details we want most, which is where to get one. According to the site it is compatible with both the PC and Mac. It also features an 8-way directional game pad and is powered by USB with 6ft cables.

Illuminated Skeleton Graveyard

Add a touch of ghastliness to your yard this coming Halloween with the Illuminated Skeleton Graveyard.

This is the graveyard composed of 26 plastic illuminated upper arm bones and skeletal hands that form a three-sided fence that surrounds three foam tombstones textured and painted to look like granite. The fence can enclose a 4′ x 4′ area in your yard. Two rubber rats with feral red eyes that glow with a hint of diabolical sentience lurk beside the upper torso of a skeleton that appears to be pulling itself out of the ground–the chest cavity still houses a beating heart that pulses from bright red to deep crimson as it lights, then dims. A single skull with two blinking eye sockets accompanies the other remains. The bones, heart, and skull each house mini-lights rated for 1,000 hours of use; rats use C7 candelabra type bulbs. Plugs into AC. Fence bones have stakes for securing them into the ground.

Might scare very little children away, but for the rest of the general populace, this $99.95 device probably would elicit more curious looks than hair raising episodes.
