China’s Zhejiang 001 Group has come up with the solar-powered car, the car was shown at the car exhibition in Hangzhou. The group has produced over 10 units of them and each will be sold at 38,000 yuan (US$5,560). The car is capable of absorbing 95 percent of the solar energy it takes in but can only transform 14% to 17% of that into electricity, quite similar to others solar car.
