According to earlier reviewers report, the new Microsoft operating system, Windows 7, is much faster and stable. Windows boss Steve Sinofsky has confirmed that this os can be run on a system with just 1GB of RAM.
“The interesting part is that the Win 7 boots faster, (even with the other computer’s BIOS startup out of the way), but apparently takes longer time than the other system to shut down. But yes, these are totally unscientific.”
It’s always obnoxious having a wall clock you have to stand excessively close to in orderto read it properly. I have one of those, I can never see the placement of the hands from a distance. Yet, I keep it because I like the overall look of the clock. I imagine a lot of people will pick up this clock for the same reasons, the overall look is fascinating. Even if the watch face is overly difficult to read from a distance. If they had varied the color of the hands a little from its background it would have helped a great deal.
However, with them both being one color it does simplify the look of the overall clock. Having fifty exposed gears is plenty to clutter the clock up by themselves without adding a contrasting color to the clock hands. The clock is 16” and yes, all of those gears do move. The larger gear behind the watch hands also spins, it spins clockwise while the rest of the gears spin counterclockwise. The clock will cost you $78.

NASA has come out with a Small Pressurized Rover Concept which set to be put in service by year 2020. It is a futuristic recreational vehicle mounted on six sets of wheels, 12 wheels altogether. This battery powered rover can speed up to 6 mph.
“The new prototype has a pressurized cab and is fitted out with leather seats and bunks. It would allow a crew of two astronauts to take extended exploration trips for up to two weeks at a time, covering distances of up to 625 miles, says Craig, the NASA program’s manager.”
The vehicle is being tested in a remote corner of Arizona which found to have similar surface conditions to those found on the moon. It has a range of up to 625 miles (1,000 km).

This iBangle design concept is a little bit daring as the design fits right on your wrist instead of clipping to your belt. Don’t let its loose look fool you, the iBangle won’t easily slip off like other “clip-on” MP3 players. Apparently, that tiny blue button that you see in the illustration somehow fills the blue area with air, so it fits snug, but hopefully not too snug.
As for the earphones, forget about it! The audio sound is transmitted via wireless earbuds. So how do you navigate through tracks, you may ask? Just use the multi-touch track pad.
Now, if only it had a way to play video files. Perhaps a screen could be put on it, and the iBangle could pass for a watch.
Too bad this iBangle remains only a concept from designer Gopinath Prasana. Apple, this could easily be the next big thing for MP3 Players, so please feel free to put one million iBangles into production.

This HSPRL (just humor me for this article’s sake) was announced at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo 2008. I’m certain that this isn’t the first autonomous robot lawn mower, but I’m guessing this one won’t be the last.
Of course, the real selling point of the HSPRL is the fact that it is solar powered, which doesn’t sound like an industry first. This limits it to daylight usage, but it uses a rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery.
This device weighs in at about 22-pounds, and can work a half-acre lot of grass with a wire that can be slightly buried or staked in place as a safety border. Speaking of safety, the Solar-powered lawnmower has some great safety features. For example, it will automatically shut off its blades when it is lifted, and built-in sensors to work around objects.
Unfortunately, the Husqvarna solar-powered lawnmower does not have a release date or price. I could give you an estimation based on another model the company produces, so we’re looking at about $2,000.
Designer Ashish Chaudhary has designed the Butt-On for butt lover. It is a night light with integrated switch. To switch on the light, on you need to do is pinch the butt. The butt is made of soft translucent silicon based rubber for a better tactile feel. Hope you don’t obsessed for a real one after pinching that Butt-On every night.

China’s Zhejiang 001 Group has come up with the solar-powered car, the car was shown at the car exhibition in Hangzhou. The group has produced over 10 units of them and each will be sold at 38,000 yuan (US$5,560). The car is capable of absorbing 95 percent of the solar energy it takes in but can only transform 14% to 17% of that into electricity, quite similar to others solar car. The car can travel 150km after 30 hours of solar charging, yeah an hour of charge will get you 5km. No words if the car will be shipped outta China.

I mean, just look at the scrolling OLED screen! I think we are close to perfecting that technology, but not that close. Still, it would be nifty to have a screen that can roll up into the PSP itself. No more tiny screen, but it needs some sort of electrical charge to hold it up. I guess it uses the same “memory cloth” technology as shown in Batman Begins.
Not only does it have the rolling and scrolling action going on, but the side speakers fold inwards, presumably to hold the screen into place when it is rolled up. Rumor has it the speakers are the controls for the device. This appears to the only method of control, as I don’t see a controller or buttons.
This technology is too good to use on just portable video game consoles. I think that every cellular phone needs to be this wand-shaped thing that you can use to take and receive calls, and then roll it out to watch videos or whatever applications you care to run.
Well, as I said before, the PSP2 probably won’t be available any time soon, so if you want a new style of PSP, you’ll have to get the PSP-3000.
