Is this super scary or what? Halloween comes a little bit early with the remote-controlled Dead Fred version, but it looks set to be a surefire winner if the manufacturers could work on reducing the $2,650 price tag. This 4-foot long realistic looking zombie is powered by a quartet of DC motors and two 12-volt batteries, allowing it to groan, scream and talk in full digital audio thanks to an onboard amplifier and speaker. Perfect to keep those pesky kids off your well-manicured lawn. Gotta love Dead Fred’s nasty looking entrails behind.

Sunday Sci-Fi - UFO dodging an attack from earth
This video which is reportedly shot by astronauts onboard the Discovery while orbiting the earth is a Sci-Fi enthusiasts dream come true. Firstly it shows a UFO near the earths atmosphere and secondly it is being attacked by a Star-Wars styled missile defense base from good old Planet Earth. Mind you this video is from 1991, so 17 years down the line think of the advancements in missile technology. According to the source following this episode future live satellite feeds from NASA shuttle cameras were canceled.
