Here’s a video shot on a Rokko Liner in Kobe, Japan, showing how paper clips stand up when the train accelerates and brakers. That is because of electromagnetism leaking through the floor. Oh no! Don’t wear dress to train! Check it out

The Bloc 100

The Bloc 100 is made by Fitzsu. It is a single block of wood carved into 100 matches. When you need the light, just pluck one and strike it across the base of the cube, pssshh!, you’ve got a fire. Not cheap though, it could be the most expensive matches ever, $48. I can get up to a thousand boxes of normal matches with that.

Arm Wrestle Mania

There is nothing quite like the testosterone-filled moments of arm wrestling to establish who is the alpha male in the pack, and for those who lack the bicep power to overcome the opponent, how about settling for a game of Arm Wrestle Mania? The winner is the person who is able to tap their player’s button as fast as they can, and whoever is fastest will beat their opponent into submission. The crowd will cheers as the announcer proclaims, “Winner!” - talk about a true test of reflexes and speed. This 5″ x 8″ toy is powered by a trio of AA batteries, retailing for $24.95.

Largest working cell phone in the world

ust how large do you think the biggest working cell phone in the world will be? Well, it has been unveiled in Chicago, and it measures a gargantuan 15 feet wide and 13 feet tall - definitely not something you are able to tote around and chat with. Currently placed at Fidelity Plaza in downtown Chicago, those who dropped by the unveiling yesterday were able to make free, unlimited phone calls or texts on the gigantic device, although we’d think that text messaging on this will surely take a whole lot longer than placing a phone call. The device relies on service from Cricket and is a working replica of the Samsung Messager, making for a great publicity stunt. Needless to say, you can find this achievement listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, that’s for sure.

The 50 Year Calendar may outlive you

If you’ve ever felt that tossing a calendar a year is wasteful, this is one way to conserve paper. It will not only serve well as a paper weight, but it will work for 50 years. For some of you, you’d never have to buy a calendar again. This 50 year calendar makes sure to calculate for leap years, and begins in 2006 and goes until 2055. To work the calendar you line up the year and month at the top and then the weekday and the date pops up on its own at the bottom. I don’t know how anyone keep from losing this thing over the span of 50 years. At least it’s not expensive though, you can pick it up for $10.19 on Amazon.

Track your pup’s exercise with a pedometer for dogs

For those pet owners that live to drive their dog insane, try strapping a pedometer on your pup. It’s hours of fun watching them run round and round attempting to catch that little electronic device and chew it to pieces. You can also then track how many miles your dog runs when running all through your house. This pedometer is capable of tracking four feet instead of the two that your average pedometer tracks. It is also able to disregard any shaking or nodding from the dog. On the LCD screen it can show one of 32 icons that will illustrate your dog’s various activities throughout the day, such as taking a nap. It also works as a name tag and runs on a button cell that will work for about a month. It comes in four different colors and can be purchased for 4725 Yen or about $55. Personally, $55 seems a bit steep to me for something that’s just going to become a chew toy.

Seagate

Seagate , the world’s leading provider of storage solutions,What would be the most creative use I could put it to if I had one? the answer of this question is.....as m having 8 series graphic card and also my brother is doing CAD/CAM so will required lots of free space and seagate's is the one which i can assure of regarding vulnerability and services
And one thing, currently i am using seagate's 160 gb HDD and I am very satisfied with the product also once i have replace it within a one day that is am also satisfied with the seervice provided by seagate...the thing that i would expect from seagate is already there in "seagates
Constellation™ family of new enterprise storage solutions for Tier-2 nearline storage applications"
which is having the following features--
The two new drive models, the 2.5-inch Constellation and the 3.5-inch Constellation ES hard drives, include a combination of features that enable high capacities, increased power efficiency, enterprise-class reliability, and data security. Both drives also include PowerChoice™ from Seagate, which decreases power consumption by up to 54% for record power savings in enterprise environments.

Seagate FreeAgent XTreme is one stop answer to my problems of backing up tons of games that i have. But, Why is it the best?

seagate_freeagent_xtreme

Connectivity of USB 2.0, FireWire 400, and eSATA with rotational speed of 7200rpm. I don’t have to wait long to backup 8GB of data from memory card, and can make use of the fastest transfer option available. I can transfer images in field itself connecting it to laptop. Simple software to back up data with password protection. You know how important encryption and data protection is. Flexible, and sleek with a stylish design. All the Seagate FreeAgent portable hard drives are feature rich and XTreme tops them. There is also similar products for Mac users.

Having 1TeraByte means there is enough space for backing up my games , and also have space for movies and videos to watch when i am free . I can probably have another OS in the portable drive, in case the sane one cracks up. ....

It is hard to expect more from a portable hard drive, but still i wish Seagate would come up with shock sensors and shielding against fall. It would also be good to have water proof casing. It’s always good to have cover for accidents.
