The Solar Table




The above table is a 120V solar table which is capable of powering 4-hours of laptop / TV use or 6-hours of night time lighting from a 25 watt bulb, after… 4 hours of sunlight charging. Well, this SunTable is going to cost you $2200, I’m comparing that with my monthly electrical bills... :P

Lego PC by Luke Anderson




Yes, a PC case made of Lego bricks. It is built by Luke Andersen, a computer science major from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Blueprint was made first using some CAD program.1,238 Lego pieces were purchased for this project. He also completed the lego PC with a removable compartment so it will easier when he needs to upgrade his PC in the future.

According to one of my Singapore friends, she said that Samsung Omnia i900 is well-liked in Singapore. And there are news about the white Samsung Omnia SGH-i900, which said to be available this weekend in Singapore, yeah someone has already got it, a forum member from ppcsg forum has already bought a white unit from Samsung Flagship store in Singapore today. According to Sharon, this white Omnia also comes with white stylus to match the color.

Beijing 2008 olympic games


I love the date today 08-08-08. That’s about nine hours to go from now, to the Opening Ceremony of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad at the National Stadium in Beijing ~ yes, it’s on 8/8/08 at 8 p.m. because 8 is a symbol of prosperity in Chinese culture.

The ceremony officially will begin when Chinese President Hu Jintao is received at the entrance of the stadium by the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Jacques Rogge, and by Liu Qi, president of the Beijing Olympic Committee (BOCOG).
