The Lightwave CS1SPK Color-Changing Speakers with Beat Recognition

Typically novelty speakers offer all kinds of shiny extras, but very little quality in the important parts of the gadget. This one has the extra of flashing colored lights, which adds up to over 200 color combinations, plus it offers quality sound. The speakers are said to have powerful enough light and sound that it will fill the room. Turning your office or bedroom into a miniature rave, except at least with these speakers you get to pick out all of the music.

The speakers also have real-time beat recognition and red, blue and green static color modes. The speakers offer clear and crisp sound along with the flashing lighting. Since it is such a nice set of speakers it does cost a little more, luckily it’s being sold on Amazon. Currently there are eight sets of used versions that start out at a little over $20. However, if you’d like to pick up a new one it will cost you $73.50.

Split Cam

This pocket camera allows you to combine two different photos as one.

The simple yellow and black camera is made of plastic, measures 4.5 x 2.75 x1.5 inches and uses 35mm film. Unfortunately, it has no flash.

Here’s an example of what kind of photos you are able to create:

The Split Cam is available for $20 from the fredflare.com website.

The eco-friendly Lili Webcam

This cute little Lili Webcam not only has the appeal of looking adorable, but it was created in the best of ways. The webcam has managed to be created in such a way that it is actually eco-friendly. It is also thankfully a Fair Trade product. Which means the workers were in a safe and hygienic workplace while creating the cuddly little webcam. It also means that there was no child labor going on and the workers received a fair wage. Basically, Fair Trade means the little guy doing all the work didn’t get shafted.

The webcam also features flexible legs, 1.3MP, 30fps and has a built-in microphone. It uses recycled packaging, has a reduced CO2 impact and uses renewable materials. It is being sold in red, blue, gray or green. The webcam is being sold for £29.99 or about $54, which could be construed as a bit pricey. I imagine for many it would end up being worth it though to have such a cute webcam that just happens to be eco-friendly.

USB Multi-Cellular Phone Charger

I don’t think that all families use only one brand of cell phone, and this is where the USB Multi-Cellular Phone Charger comes in handy. This device is able to cater for all popular brands in the market, including Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Nokia among others. It relies on USB power to juice up your exhausted handsets, which makes it all the more convenient since you can always plug it into your laptop while you’re on a trans-Atlantic flight. Each $18 purchase comes with eight different connectors.
